C'est moi! A m o d e l . I recently posed in a photoshoot as a porcelain doll. It was an amazing experience, and so much fun! I love all things creepy; anything to do with the supernatural. Not that I really believe in any of that, but I love the feeling it gives me. Especially in art. When the photographer told me the concept of the shoot I was ecstatic. An all white background, single white chair, a porcelain-like doll, and a blurred spirit. I adore the symbolism behind this photo; the fine line between life and death. At least that's how I saw it. You can see this photo any way you'd like. Another thing that makes art beautiful is that everyone interprets it differently.

How do you think I did? This was my first modeling job, after all. The photographer told me to sit on the chair, look straight into the camera with a blank expression, and cock my head. I thought I did alright for my first time.

Sorry for such a long-winded post about a single photograph. I'm a bit over excited, I suppose :)

Driving down to Boston to party with all my favorite girls. I'm rather excited as this past week has been filled with nothing but honors advanced algebra and trigonometry, which is hardly my cup of tea (saying I don't like math is an understatement). So, what are my plans for the rest of the night? A dip in the pool, dinner with the girls at my favorite little Italian restaurant, roaming the city streets and hopping around to some of our favorite hot spots. After that, who knows? The night's still young ;) Surely tomorrow will be filled with various spa services, breakfast in bed, hot green tea, and shopping excursions. Then I'm back to reality.

Lately I've found that to keep myself organized, and on track I need to indulge in everyday luxuries (and not-so-everyday luxuries, of course). My room is bland, and uninspiring, thus I am left feeling uninspired. So I decided that my room needs to be redone. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, and finally I went out to buy a can of paint. Once the transformation's over you shall be expecting several photos..

The redecoration of my bedroom is merely one of the luxuries I have taken part in this week, so here's a list of them, and several more you should should take part in to re-inspire yourself.

♥ Stroll down to the nearest bakery and purchase a baguette. While you walk back to your quaint abode tear of a piece of crunchy bread and spoil yourself. It will be almost like you're in Paris, mademoiselle.

♥ Splurge on that Chanel handbag you've always wanted. You'll use it forever simply because it's timeless. It will be worth the, oh, say five thousand dollars.

♥ Sleep an hour later than you usually do. You'll wake up feeling completely rejuvenated and much more energized than usual. It is amazing what 60 more minutes of sleep can do for your body.

♥ Take the day off and do nothing but read a good book, lounge around, and watch Gossip Girl, or The City marathons. And while you're at it you might as well indulge in a double chocolate hot cocoa.

♥ Buy yourself some roses (in my opinion white or red are best) and rose scented bubble bath. Enjoy the roses for a few days, and when the petals dry up use them in your bubble bath. Fill up your bathtub with nice hot water, pour in lots of bubble bath, sprinkle your rose petals on top and take in the aroma of the rosy waters.

♥ Dress up. Try on all the clothes in your closet while listening to your favorite upbeat tune and select your outfit for the next day. It's totally worth it, because the next morning when you're feeling tired and uninspired you will stop yourself from making any outfit catastrophes. Plus, it's fun.

♥ Call up your best girl friends and invite them out to brunch at the place you've always wanted to eat at. You can all chat over specialty coffees, buttery croissants, and fresh fruit. Very sophisticated indeed.

♥ If you're in need of inspiration rent a room at a boutique hotel in the city nearest to you (exp. NYC, Boston, Los Angeles, Miami etc.) Indulge in spa services, shopping excursions, and plenty of room service. I always find it much more enjoyable to eat dessert in bed ;) If you're in need of relaxation, de-stress yourself by renting a cottage on the ocean. You'll return home completely revived.

♥ Bite into some cute baked goods! Like the ones seen in my header.

♥ And of course, follow in my footsteps and re-do your room. It's a wonder what a gallon of paint can do. You'll feel as though you have a blank canvas to work off of. So next time you happen to find yourself in a furniture shop you can splurge on new bedroom accessories.

Darlings, next time you're stressing over things that in the big scheme of things don't really matter, remember this: Indulge in everyday, or not-so-everyday luxuries, to re-inspire, rejuvenate, and revive yourself. Trust me, it's worth it.

I am aware that Halloween was Saturday, and this post is long overdue. I didn't even get to take decent pictures of myself wearing this most fabulous DIY Raven costume-I'm quite proud of myself! Especially since I made it when I was very young. But anyways, I hope you all had fun on Halloween! My night was rather dreary, actually. I didn't even get to wear my costume due to the rain. Luckily I was able to wear it the night before at my school's Halloween themed dance :) And I won best individual costume! I was very excited.

In need of more Halloween inspiration? Look no further than the most glamorous show on television, Gossip Girl. Because like everything else, the Upper East Siders do Halloween a little differently. Picture this (or watch the episode, How to Succeed in Bassness) : A club filled with socialites sipping martinis dressed in sparkling vintage 1920s frocks. Jealous much? I was, as I am quite infatuated with all things 20s. I even wrote and produced a play set in that time period (for more 1920s style click here, for more gossip girl style click here). Anyways, my eyes were literally glued to the screen. Oh how I wish to stroll around in a glamorous sequined mini. Sigh. A flapper would be a fabulous Halloween costume. If you decide to take on the role of a 1920s temptress, do send/post pictures!

Went to see The September Issue last night. Honestly, it was one of the best movies I have ever seen. And I'm not exaggerating. I had heard that it was brilliant, but wasn't quite sure if it would cut it for me. If it would satisfy my craving for all things Vogue and Anna Wintour. Well, The September Issue did much more than that. It was informative eye candy. This movie allows you to look into Anna's, as well as Grace's (Vogue's acclaimed stylist) lives. Their glamorous yet stressful lives that I now know are certainly worthy of my lust. I would definitely recommend this movie for all Vogue readers or anyone who's ever dreamed of working in the fashion industry. Trust me, it's worth your money :)

Halloween, the one day you can be anyone or anything you want. A sexy seductress, whimsical fairy tale character, frisky black cat, or even the classic witch; no matter what you are, have fun with it. Halloween only comes once a year ;)

There's nothing quite like a steaming cup of cider, a bag full of delicious treats, or crisp air filled with blowing leaves. All of these things give you a feeling that you will only come across on this one day. Halloween brings back childhood memories of sticky candy corn and the visits to the dentist that followed. You remember running down a chilly street, ringing countless doorbells.

I have thousands of Halloween memories, but one that stands out among the rest. After a long night of trick-or-treating my younger sister and I would come home and watch Tim Burton (one of my favorite directors) movie marathons. Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, and Sweeney Todd were among our favorites. As you must have guessed, this is why I posted this Tim Burton editorial; for your viewing pleasure, and my reminiscing.

So, what am I going to be, you ask? Well you'll just have to wait and see ;) I made my costume all by myself and I am actually very proud. It turned out much better than I expected. Previous costumes of mine include the likes of Little Miss. Muffet, a flapper, a lion, a witch, and Audrey Hepburn.

Ah yes, the city. Of course my heart belongs to New York, but when you live six hours away that can't happen every weekend. So Boston, being only about two hours away, will have to do. I spent a rainy Sunday shopping around the city, sipping hot coffees, and to top it all off, dinner at a small (yet delicious) authentic italian restaurant. What better way to spend a Sunday? I've posted various pictures of one of my best friends and myself. We found an adorable picturesque park and decided to do some modeling. Now of course, we are not in any way professionals, nor were any of the shots good quality (mostly due to the rain). But we had fun. Guess which one is me ;)

Topshop, please

Yes, these are indeed the Topshop purchases I made while in NYC! I will tell more about the trip later, but I figured this was the most important part of my trip :) So to begin, Topshop = heaven. After saving up all summer, you can imagine these purchases were tough to make. It's not often that I'm in the city, once a year (twice, if I'm lucky). So after much debate, these seven items ended up on top. They seemed as if they would fit right in with the other items in my wardrobe, yet also add to it.

Floral Bodycon. I love this dress. Ever since I first laid eyes on it online, I knew it had to be mine. This dress + my trusty grey cardigan + tights/stockings equals a winter outfit, that is perfect for autumn in school. I don't own many patterns, or florals for that matter, so this purchase was very important to me.

Plum Cardigan. I adore the color of this cardigan. Plum, has always, and will always be one of my most wanted colors for fall clothing and nail polish. I own loads of grey, and black cardigans, but never have I bought one in plum.

ANIQUE Stud Toe Ankle Boots. I cannot put my adoration for these boots into words. They may be an impulse buy (seeing as I cannot really wear them to school). However I will get quite a bit of use out of them. I have been contemplating if these ankle boots were a wise purchase, but I've finally decided not to second guess myself, and simply rock the boots.

I HEART NYC Tank. This one is easy to explain. I really do love NYC. And I have always longed for a tee or tank that would express that. Plus, Topshop has fabulous tanks.

Knitted Cowl Neck Top. Not to grungy, yet not to girly. This top was definitely on the top of my list. I will get plenty of use out of it.

Lace Dress. Lace is ever so lovely. I simply had to buy this. I'm infatuated with that classic type of look. With this dress, I will be able to achieve that, but also put my own spin on it.

Bodycon Dress. My mouth waters at the sight of this dress. I will wear this to the next party I attend. Trust me, this dress will be in constant rotation in my closet.

My Favorite! THE Grey Leather Studded Jacket. I did not own a leather jacket until I purchased this. Now, I officially own a STUDDED leather jacket! Ah, a dreamy combination & a wardrobe staple.

New York, I Love You

I know I have been absent from the blog for the last week or so, and it is due to the fact that I took a little trip to Boston. Hopefully I will have a post to come about that trip in the future. Maybe you're wondering, if Laur took a trip to Boston, why do a see a picture of NYC? The reason is this: I have quite a few relatives that live in Alpine New Jersey and I'm leaving tomorrow to stay with them for the rest of the week. This, my darlings, means I will be able to visit the city, which is only about a 15 minute drive from Alpine! I am very excited as I haven't been able to visit Topshop yet. When I return, I promise the frequency of my posts will return tomorrow.. Hopefully the second installment to my Gossip Girl Style Series. However school starts this upcoming Tuesday, so who knows :(

My Own Petite Novella

La Couturier had a giveaway to win a pair of Current/Elliott "the Legging" skinny in black, and I entered it. I'm quite a fan of her petite novellas, so when I found out that to enter you had to write your own, I was hooked. I absolutely had to enter. So I spent a day to think of ideas for my story, and finally settled upon one that I liked. Below, you will find my entry and a visual. I decided to post it on here so that you may all read it :)

Bebette Martine, naturally, had that Blair Waldorf type of “put together”. You know, stockings, trench coats in every color imaginable, gorgeous blouses, coveted handbags, and of course, the ever-present headband. But tonight, she would be in Paris. And, as she had always said, America is my country, Paris is my hometown.

It was about 8 o’clock when she managed to arrive at the Hotel de Crillon, Bebette noted as she glanced at the screen of her gem-encrusted Blackberry. As she walked into her suite, Bebette was greeted by none other than her best friend, Stevie, whom she’d known since the years of dress up and magic fairy tales. Stevie was a fashionista at heart. And tonight, she was dressed as always, Erin Wasson-esque, and sans an ounce of color. They embraced, followed by a session of reminiscing.

“Why don’t I dress you up tonight? It will be just like old times, when we would prance around in my grandmother’s Chanel stilettos, and my father’s suits,” Stevie said magically as she acted out the scene by strutting gracefully across the giant bed. She pouted her red lips. “Please, B. It will be fun.”

Bebette wasn’t sure whether it was Stevie’s hopeful look, or the hot city air that made her agree to the offer, but somehow she found herself in the spacious hotel bathroom holding a pile of black & white frocks from Stevie’s suit case. First, she slipped into a Kiki de Montparnasse black, lacy bra. The bra smelled of Stevie’s signature scent, Valentino’s Rock ‘n Rose. Bebette then snuck into a sheer white tee, which allowed the lace bra to peek through ever so slightly. She finished off the look with an Alexander Wang black double breasted jacket, unbuttoned, Giuseppe Zanotti for Balmain high heel booties, and of course, the Current/Elliott denim skinny jeans. Bebette turned to face the floor length mirror, her blood rushing with anticipation. The girl she saw in the mirror was edgy, glamorous, sexy, seductive, alluring, and fierce.

And with no delay, (besides a swipe of red lipstick and a tousle of the hair) the ladies were off. No longer looking like little girls in their dress up clothes, they were ready to take on the night. Bebette stole a glance at her own reflection in a store window, it was mixed with reflections of pedestrians, dresses hanging on mannequins, and her city of black and white. Her hometown, Paris.

Goodbye to the old, in with the new. Say hello to the new & (hopefully) improved, neon mango. I'm still in the process of revamping the blog. So, if you see fonts that don't seem to match, and matters like that, feel free to tell me. I will probably have already been aware of it, however. One thing that is annoying me is the fact that all of my old headers are still on the blog. They don't match with my new layout! Little things like this bother me ever so much. Anyways, what do you think? Better, worse? Should I go back to my original header/layout? Honestly, I can't decide. A part of me likes it this way, but another part of me is missing the organization and color of the old neon mango. So, feedback please and keep it coming.

As season three of Gossip Girl approaches, I can hardly contain my excitement. Why I, and millions of others watch this show could be due to many reasons. Is it the lust worthy clothing, scandalous drama, or simply Chuck Bass that keeps girls everywhere hooked? For me, all three of those reasons and more keep me watching. So, due to my growing anticipation for September 14, I give you a short series of posts inspired by GG fashion. I'll release this series over the course of the next few weeks before the season three premiere So to begin, who better to start with than the Queen B herself? Blair Waldorf.

Blair Waldorf Style

Blair's style is very classy, preppy, and put together. Prim and proper she is; Miss. Waldorf would never walk out in public with one hair astray or one outfit unpolished. You would never catch her wearing anything less than flawless, or "boho-chic". With that information given, let me show you some of her wardrobe and beauty staples.

Dresses & Skirts

Many people say Blair has never worn a single pair of pants, alas, I do remember her wearing a pair of jeans in the episode, "Hi, Society". For proof, click here to see a very low resolution photo. Anyways, 99.9% of the time the Queen is spotted wearing skirts or dresses. Worn with tights, or bare legs. Either way, Blair would surely approve. Skirts worn with little cardigans and blouses would make for a very Blair-like ensemble. In the winter months, when wearing tights or stockings do not be afraid to mix it up! Funky tights are a Waldorf staple. Colorful, patterned, fishnet, white, or even the classic black opaque. Blair is all about pops of color, and tights are a great way to do that.

Feminine Details

Queen B adores anything girlish. From ruffles, to pearls, to sparkles, tulle and bows galore, you'll find it in her wardrobe. If you want to make Blair's style your own, you will definitely have to play up the girly factor. Just make sure you make it classic, and polished. However, with Blair's sense of fashion, one feminine item is never enough. Feel free to mix bows with headbands, and ruffles with pearls. Trust me, you'll look like Blair in no time.

Dress Appropriately

Miss. Waldorf always dresses perfectly for whatever situation she

encounter. If she must attend a funeral, her outfit is complete with black leather gloves. When the time for physical education comes, her patent belt matches her hockey stick. If she happens to be starring in her prep school's play, her ensemble is no less than perfection. And when the hazy days of summer come to be, you'll find Blair riding her bike in the Hamptons, ruffles and all. She loves to match, right down to the very last detail. No occasion is to small to buy a custom ensemble for.

Headbands

Ah, the ever-present headband. Blair's signature piece that states to the rest of Constance that she is the one in charge. I suppose you could say she treats her headbands like crowns; and what would a Queen be without her crown? You can't go wrong with bright colors, sparkling gems, or big bows.

Blair Waldorf Hair & Beauty

Hair. Perfect brown curls, adorned with a headband. A classic look indeed. To achieve this lusted after look, is not easy. With my stick straight hair, it is very difficult to make my hair curl. Even if I get it to look this way, I can guarantee you it will not last throughout the course of the day.

Beauty. Blair wears her makeup light, yet not exactly organically. Usually a touch of peachy blush, foundation, a matte lipstick, a bit of eyeshadow, and a hint of mascara is all the Queen B needs. If she finds herself somewhere more upscale than say, school, she will opt for something bolder, and use heavier eyeliner, mascara, or lip color. Blair uses classic colors in her makeup, and never goes overboard.

Note: Just because Blair has a fabulous sense of style doesn't mean you should mock hers completely. Everyone should add their own touches on Blair inspired outfits. Don't lose sight of who you are & how you dress.

I'm back! From where? Pennsylvania. I just returned from staying in a little cabin in the middle of a corn field with my best friend. I've never been so thankful for indoor plumbing and my own bed. I believe I am in love with this Treesje bag. It's buttery-soft, slouchy leather, adorned with lovely studs make it quite worthy of my affection. It was in my grasps during yesterdays shopping trip, but instead I opted for the Frye boots that were on sale for 100 dollars off their original price. I thought that I got a nice bargain, but now I am finding myself needing this bag. Ah, If only I could splurge for them both :)

I most definitely adore the combination of this loose-fitting dress and lovely shoes; so carefree yet chic. However, what I adore even more is the fact that summertime is finally here! I got out of school a few days ago, and since then my days have consisted of visits to my neighborhood beach, late night ice-cream runs, rehearsals for Grease and Alice in Wonderland, and a scooter injury or two. Actually more like a sprained wrist :\ Which is the reason for the slow down in blogging, my ability to type has just returned to me. But, I'm just happy to be out of school. If you have been wondering where I've been for the past week, well, I've been walking to streets of NYC! The band and chorus at my school always goes on amazing field trips, and this year it was to New York. Ahhh perfect timing. It was quite fun strolling around the city with the majority of my high school. Definitely unforgettable. Oh, and we competed in a music festival. Lots of big New Jersey and New York bands were no match for our little New Hampshire band; we got first place! :D I hope everyone had a fabulous week!

These blue glass pebbles were all over the resort we stayed in, called "blue"

The beautiful Plum Island beach. Oh, I adore New England's beaches.

The inn, blue, was simply stunning. It was supposed to look a little bit like a hotel in Miami, and it did.

Mussel man! This artsy town Newburyport is about a ten minute ride from Plum Island. It has some wonderful little boutiques, and we found this statue of a man made out of mussels driving a tractor. Ha, I love it.

Downtown Newburyport. All of the cherry trees were in bloom. It was marvelous.

Wow, it seems like it has been ages since I've blogged.. So I apologize for being such an awful blogger. I have just had so much going on; school projects, tests, the beginning of another show and studying for upcoming auditions has consumed my life. And now, it's Spring Break. So I'm sure I won't have any time at all to blog. So once again, I apologize, and I hope to be back on my feet soon.

Anyways, tomorrow I'm heading off to Plum Island. It's a tiny little island nestled off the coast of New England. It's really quite beautiful. After that I'm heading to Boston for a few days to do some shopping and such. I promise to take plenty of photos and share them with you all when I return!

hell week & flapper style

If you've ever been involved in theatre, you know what I mean by hell week. Otherwise known as tech week. The week where you give all of your time to the theatre in hopes that the joy of opening night will pay you back. Well the show I am in right now requires a tech week that is much more demanding than usual. It's not your usual show. It's a compilation of about 12 one-act plays written by local teens. So I'm not only acting in one of the shows, but also acting as a stage manager for the show that I wrote.

The show I wrote, titled "Got no Wiggle," is set in the 1920s. It is about a flapper named Bunny who is stuck between loyalties to her old- fashioned mother who wants her to settle down and get married, and her flapper friend Cherry.

With the 1920s on my mind I spotted some flapper inspired styles while scoping through past Spring and Summer 2008 collections.

Kate Moss in December Vogue; Kate Moss for Topshop beaded flapper dresses and cape; The Great Gatsby; Coco Chanel.

Well, expect an even longer slow down in posts for the rest of the week.. By the way, my birthday is on Thursday!

1. A trip to New York City, which is actually right around the corner! My whole chorus, band and theatre group will be going on a trip there in about a month. It will be quite amazing. All of my theatre geeks, band kids, and chorus junkies all in one place. The best part is there are no chaperones in the hotel rooms. I cannot wait :)

2. A Pinkberry, preferably topped with mango, pineapple, and coconut. I think I need to join Pinkberry Anonymous. Anyone else addicted? Oh, and has anyone tried the new pomegranate flavor? I am dying to try it my dears.

3. A shopping spree, if only I had the time. Well, I am going to make time. I am in desperate need of some new spring shoes, jackets, shorts, jumpsuits, skirts, and well, everything.

4. My photoshop to cooperate. I'm not sure if that really counts as a craving, but all the same, it must be fixed! Oh how it pains me to use paint.. This is also the reason for no beauty post.

5. A new bag for spring. Any suggestions?

6. GOSSIP GIRL. TONIGHT! Yes, my thirst for Gossip Girl will be quenched tonight, March 16th. On gossipgirlinder.com, I was told that if I read their extended synopsis of tonight's episode I had to promise to make someone else tune in. So, you have to watch it! I guarantee you will love it. If you're a gossip girl virgin you may be a little confused, but entertained nonetheless. So get to it! Turn on your televisions tonight at 8 PM, and find your way to the CW.

7. Some Ben & Jerry's mint chocolate cookie ice cream, to go with tonight's episode of Gossip Girl.

8. Summer! After yet another harsh New England winter, I think we can all agree a little sun is well deserved. Smoothies, beach days, road trips, lemonade, bathing suits, smoldering country days, warm city nights, catching fire flies, hating my job but loving the benefits, going to the drive-in, all-nighters, spending rainy days at the mall, the ocean, walking around, going on hikes, swimming in rivers, and no school. Ahhhhh, oh summertime =)

9. A new beret to add to my collection would be very nice.

10. My birthday, which is less than a month away now. I guess I should start making plans & wish lists. I get very into all holidays, including my birthday =)

I suppose I am also craving these Golden Goose boots. They would fit right in with the other items on my current wish list.

Balmain Fall 2009 RTW. I adore this collection. My favorite collection of the season, besides Nina Ricci. Ahhh, it is just stunning. Balmain truly blew me away. "Decarnin deserves acknowledgement for keeping the wheels of fast fashion turning." (Sarah Mower, style.com) Yes, yes indeed.

Besides this lovely Balmain collection, there are some other things that I must talk about, such as this amazing lip gloss.

After seeing this lip gloss on La Couturier, I was reminded that I absolutely needed to mention this on my blog. The Chanel Aqualumiere Gloss in Party Red. This is the most fabulous lip gloss that I have ever owned. Some of you may disagree, but for me, this lip gloss is perfection. Being a young student I don't usually want to wear bright red lipstick to school (I prefer a more natural look), yet some days when I am feeling especially glamorous, I would appreciate a hint of red on my lips. This lip gloss does just that. Just the right amount of color to make you feel fabulous, yet not to flashy. So, if you're looking for a new lip gloss, try this one out. Definitely worth your money.

Spring! I can just feel it. The fact that the outside air feels crisper, and the fact that rain is falling from the sky rather than snow serves as a constant reminder. So, in celebration of the coming season, I made a strange little collage! I would love to wear everything pictured here this Spring and Summer. Ahhhhh. Oh, and those heavenly shoes floating above the gorgeous Miami skyline. Don't even get me started on those. The lovely array of delicious boots, yummy gladiator sandals, mouth-watering heels, and tasty wedges make me want to jump for joy. But the icing on the cake is the Chanel nail lacquer! In Django, and Vendetta. I recently purchased Vendetta. I'm excited to try it out, yet I just got a manicure, so I think it would be best to wait until my current polish begins to chip.

Anyways, what's your spring fetish? The item(s) you are dying to get your hands on.

What we're wearing. (From beginning to end)

Pictures 1-4: I'm wearing a blazer, belt, bracelet and grey tunic from h&m, random grey tights, and B.P. fringe boots. All these pictures were taken at the little lounge on our floor at the hotel we stayed in. The city lights outside of the window behind me were so bright! But of course, they did not show up in the pictures. And oh, I was wearing Boris & Natasha nail polish (Boris and Natasha! Like Rocky & Bullwinkle!) by O.P.I.

Picture 5: This is me and my sister Jules walking along the beautiful Charles River. You can't really see Jules though.. Ahhh, I wish I was still in the city. I will talk about these outfits later...

Picture 7: This is me, trying to look modelesque in Beacon Hill (aka, the Upper East Side of Boston).

Picture 8: My sister Jules in an alley, looking ravishing in some clothing of which I do not know the origins.. I will have to ask her. Although I do know that she is wearing her Steve Madden Bonanza boots. She is such a little fashionista! You wouldn't believe it if I told you how old she is.

Picture 9: Me, Laur, in the same alley, attempting to model. Wearing my mom's Marc Jacobs sunglasses (I forgot my Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses in the hotel room), my Tulle jacket, the same random beret from Nordstrom from before, purple Zara leggings, and my B.P. fringe boots.

Unfortunately my mom didn't want to have to lug the camera around to Blue Man Group, or anywhere we ate.. All of the food I had on this trip was exquisite. I also missed out on taking pictures of our day on Newbury Street. I found this lovely vintage Hermès t-shirt with a map of Paris on it. But it didn't fit good enough for $130 dollars unfortunately. I also didn't take any pictures of my cute little ensemble with my Marc Jacobs mouse flats. I love those little guys!

Well I will probably do another post on my trip sometime this weekend, going more into detail on what we did and where we ate.. If you are planning a trip to Boston I can tell you some great places to dine & shop! Hmmmm, I just love the city. Any city, in fact.

I can't even begin to explain how happy I am for everyone that worked on Slumdog Millionaire. I've never seen something so stunning in my life. They truly deserved every win they received, and if you haven't seen this movie yet, go see it tonight! Get some of your friends together, head out to the theatre, buy a ton of sweets (indulging is good every once in a while!) and watch this amazing film. Trust me, it will be worth it. The child actors in it are just adorable! Not to mention they were all at the Oscars last night! Seeing them on the red carpet just about made my day.

All in gorgeous little Brooks Brothers ensembles. Ahhhh, everytime I see this picture it makes me smile. Now onto the best dressed..

Mmmm. I don't know where to begin with this extremely lovely Armani Privé gown. Not to mention those stunning Cartier jewels. I believe it makes Hathaway appear to be a dewey looking, gorgeous, sparkly mermaid. It fits her dreamily, and she looks happy wearing it. Well, who wouldn't be happy wearing that jaw dropping masterpiece?

So just to let you all know I am going away for a few days to Boston, my third favorite city, followed by Miami, and of course, New York! I'll probably be coming back late Friday night. I'm going to get my hair cut, and nails done, as well as go shopping. I'm also seeing Blue Man Group. I promise to take lots of pictures and videos of me in the city, plus show you all of my great finds!

If you remember a few posts ago I mentioned the Barbie 50th Anniversary fashion show. Well, thanks to the supermelon.com I can show you pictures of the show. Oh, this whole idea of a life-size Barbie fashion show brings me back to my childhood years. Ahhhh. Remind me to buy some nail polish in Barbie's signature "bubble-gum pink" color.

In other news, I have been feeling rather uninspired lately.. Which is part of the reason I haven't been posting much. But after reading La Couturier's latest post, I have been feeling rejuvenated! So thank you, thank you, thank you to La C. at La Couturier! And if you have never read her blog, now is the time to start! It is amazingly inspirational, uplifting, witty, and very well written. click!

Due to the epiphany I had while reading La Couturier I decided that I am going to make weekly inspiration collages and lists. As well as become a more dedicated blogger. Starting now.

Hey all. So sorry for not posting anything in forever.. Geometry Honors is killing me. Plus, winter carnival is this week at my school, and during winter carnival we do a lip sync. Basically I have to memorize the words to 2493247247 songs and learn dances for all of them. And I'm the one mixing the music. So that has pretty much taken over my life. I have been lusting over Alexander Wang's spring collection since I first laid eyes on it. I just adore the brightly colored blazers. I am getting an art-deco vibe from these clothes as well.
